Privacy & data

How Nexquiry handles information.

Last updated: September 20, 2026

This page explains the current product behaviour in clear language. It is a product privacy notice, not a substitute for legal advice or the individual business's own privacy notice.

Who is responsible?

The business whose website contains the chatbot normally decides why customer enquiries are collected and how they are handled. Nexquiry provides the software and processes information to deliver that service. Businesses remain responsible for providing any additional notice their use case requires.

What is collected?

A chat may contain messages, name, phone number, email address, service address, the problem or request, and relevant qualification details. We also process limited technical data, including hashed identifiers used to prevent abuse and enforce request limits.

Why is it used?

Chat data is used to understand the request, generate a reply, create a lead, deliver it to the relevant business, operate the service, and protect it against misuse. Nexquiry does not sell chat data or use it to train a Nexquiry-owned AI model.

Who receives it?

Completed enquiries are available to the business identified in the widget. Data may also be processed by service providers used for hosting, database storage, email delivery, and AI-generated replies. The exact providers and processing locations depend on the production configuration.

How long is it kept?

Leads are currently retained until the business requests deletion or account closure. Password-reset links expire after 30 minutes and can be used once. Expired rate-limit records are automatically removed.

Your choices and rights

Do not share national identification numbers, payment-card details, medical information, or other sensitive data in the chat. To access, correct, or delete an enquiry, contact the business named in the widget first. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority if you believe your rights have not been respected.

AI transparency

The widget clearly states that the visitor is chatting with an AI assistant. AI can make mistakes, so businesses should review enquiries before relying on them for important decisions. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service directly.

For businesses using Nexquiry

Before going live, add your own company contact details, lawful basis, retention period, and complete subprocessor information to the notice shown on your website. Only request data that is necessary for the service enquiry.
